Gen Tsos chicken is based on a Taiwanese dish which is similar, which paid homage to the original General Tsos favorite food, which was chicken and hot peppers. If you ever get the chance look up a short documentary called "Searching for General Tso" just over an hour long and really fascinating.

Sometimes different foods are similar, sometimes the same food are different.
It's very common for a dish to have many variations, not just in fillings and such, but in different main ingredients, techiniques and cooking steps overall.
Pizza here in Brazil is probably different from pizza in the US, which is very different from the original pizza recipe all the way back to I don't know when.
And it's very cool!

Yep! American pizza got exported (as lots of stuff does from the USA) to many places around the world, and it changed as it moved around. Italian pizza came to the USA, but many would argue they didn't create it either. The "what is pizza" question would likely give the original credit to another place that did toppings on flatbread.

New York, Chicago, Detroit, etc. styles of pizza are American dishes. Hence why I can say "chicken parmesan" is American, but pasta is not.

It's so long since it was update, so i was thinking the game was abandoned, plus, the dev was harassed by some idiots because of the trans character.

Must be disheartening to be harassed like that, understandable to have low motivation for continuing development. I really liked Nea as a character.

I don't know how European pancakes nor Yorkshire pudding are, but I'll just consider them as bolinho de chuva cousins. Hahaha

Yorkshire pudding isn't really a sweet thing, usually goes with roast meats, veg and gravy

I usually butterfly and pound, season with salt, pepper, garlic and sometimes italian herbs.
Never brined it, though. It would be too wet for frying, wouldn't it?

EDIT: It's usually the frying part I fuck up, I think. Too charred or no cooked in the middle.
Should probably get something bigger than a 12" cast pan
