Most vanilla AVNs good enough for sites like Patreon don't even make $100/mo these days, so the self-censorship really isn't worth it (it wouldn't be to me at least). There's just too many of them to stand out and just about all are quite boring (at least to me). Like I told Blackheart when he was banned on Fuck95 that alone is a bragging right/selling point, and means your AVNs aren't just a bunch of average ones among 5000 others. I'm reminded of A Serbian Film. Banned in a list of countries, but that just makes people wanna see why it was banned so they go hunt it down, when otherwise most wouldn't give an obscure foreign movie a second thought (and yes, it's fucked up).

IDK if I'd really consider getting banned a selling point. I might be just unusual in that regard, but I don't look for banned things to determine if something looks good to play / watch / read or not. If I find out about it and also decide it looks or sounds good, then I will probably seek it out. I might be misremembering, but wasn't At Home Again also banned because of its loli content (if so, ironic given the latest release)? That is anything but a hidden gem. That game is for sure below average IMO. And I've played several Games+ titles here, and for me they vary greatly in quality. Some are a slog to get through if I'm honest, while others are a joy. So... I guess it absolutely depends for me.

Porno movies aren't rated by the MPAA, they are all simply NR (not rated). While most assume X, XX, XXX rating were slots above R-rating it was done for bragging rights and to get people's attention (even though in hindsight when you think about it rating your own movie shouldn't count). Honestly, the whole "Oooh, I'm being naughty!" appeal tends to die out in one's teens or twenties. No RL friends of mine are all, "Dude, we totally gotta do this taboo thing! It's gonna be so lit!" If anything folks (like me) who do stuff society frowns upon are anonymous online (behind VPNs, browsers that don't track history nor sell information, etc.) to avoid RL problems as much as possible. I'm not gonna pretend that it's not still possible to get found out, but it's less likely, especially if you live alone like I do currently.

That would be wise, so I could definitely see that being what's going on here. Realistically feigning innocence obviously relies on claims to the contrary being less believable than the presumed innocence of the accused. That would be a challenge to pull off, I think, but it might be done. I guess we'll find out at some point later on, in any case.

After Westygate (though the law there has been such since 1995) one would have to either have balls the size of Jupiter or be incredibly foolish for having anything to do with any sort of porn there, assumed legal or not. Like most high-risk but high reward things selling drugs would be more lucrative with less potential prison time. Personally if I had to I'd build a boat and row across the Pacific to where I could sell whatever art I wanted with no legal risks to try to dodge in the first place. I can't read Portuguese but I've heard loli isn't just tolerated but a legally protected art form in Brazil (in theory even better than trying to keep it under a First Amendment umbrella in the US). No idea where Ketzal headed for but he saw the way the wind was blowing in France and gtfo of Dodge when he decided to make SSP his day job.

The problem with the TOR network for loli AVNs or patches is it's then competing with the real thing, so there's hardly any of them there for long. Only fictional stuff I've found there is near-photorealsitic AI made, with the legality of that one way or the other still still up in the air (FBI says one thing, but a judge has yet to rule on a case with only photorealistic-AI-rendered loli possession alone, all so far I know of have plead guilty to more serious charges and had the AI charges dropped as part of the deal, basically like confessing to murder but having theft of the murder weapon dropped in hope of a lighter sentence).

Well, most girls are not total sluts that fuck a guy or their boss when they first meet right after a handshake and 10 mins of pleasantries. Some AVNs are a bit more realistic and use a bit of buildup and inner conflict resolution (for the incest LI's) before that. The problem is updates are really far apart (~8 months) with only 2 of them so far so it feels like slow-burn/blueballing. Maybe only stick to AVNs with completed tags to avoid that?

Damn, it has been 2 years already? Even if that is the case, it's not like the dev is working on it full time. Dude has like 20 subs on SS so the updates will probably keep being small.

I mean a solid code is definitely an excellent thing but idk it seems weird to me to focus that much on it right now especially when your game is still barebones content wise. Code updates won't help you build a fanbase, which this game really needs. It's been here for almost a year and a half and it barely had any progression content wise since the initial release, if a few extra renders at some point (assuming 2.0 really doesn't include anything new as depicted in the changelog, I haven't played it).

I hope you are right and that dev can now fully focus on creating new content.
