The only reason I'm here lurking around is because of some brave people who do what they can to keep this thread fun to read and comment from time to time.

I haven't stopped entirely, although I have cut back quite a bit. Even posted a few so I could see my name listed in the glory of the mime awards. Even P4 is pretty much a graveyard of new pics right now though.

I, honestly, cannot believe how much time it takes OR how many different one's y'all have made...it is mind-boggling. BUT it's sweet, so...

Kinda sorta, although (after back-reading both threads) Underlord wasn't terribly sympathetic about the loss of AI as the rest of us. I mean look at the artists that have already bailed and/or nuked their stuff (to give it a humane burial) before the Mods had to euthanize them. It's rough, but at least y'all seem to look out for one another. AND who knows maybe some of the restrictions will be lifted after a bit and things might equalize- even a little. Fingers crossed.

Hopefully common sense starts to prevail. We can all see the site slowing down and becoming less than it was at its best, and that's a sad thing.

Before the purge with AI, i was making around 2-3k LC a day I now getting around 1 k less now it doesn't bother me because I got p4 but for the ones without p4 they the ones who hit the most

That really sucks... and it also makes sense.

People like me who try their best to engage get a certain amount of reactions. Sure.

But ARTISTS that create and spend a lot of time making pictures, AI or otherwise, SHOULD get a lot more reactions for their higher effort posts. That means those that really deserve the higher LC... don't get it since the AI rules (necessary as their are) really take the piss outta wanting to make art.

As I said... really sucks.

I can't speak for them, but for me: future-proofing.

I almost, ALMOST, was going to drain my capital and buy P4 when it 65% off. I didn't get in time. That was the best thing that could have happened to me.
I did read people's opinion would said that I should buy it when I could... and I really considered it.

But considering where we are now to where we were a year ago, I'm going to bank the LC and when I get enough for P4 with ONE day's interest (math says that's in about 9 months), THEN I'll buy it. That means that if/when they introduce OMG expensive tiers... I'll STILL be able to buy it DAY ONE.

Now, I get it. As soon as many of us get to a million, there's a chance the site introduces "Super-Duper LCs". I've done my best to support the site and the mods. But if/when that happens, I'll have to reassess. With the greatest respect: Even I have my line in the sand.

Ok. That number overflowed the windows calculator when copy pasting, so I had to do the math by hand, so mistakes might have happened.

Assuming you put 50 LC in the bank, didn't miss a day, it gives you 2% per day interest OR your money is x1.81 per month OR you add a 0 every 4 months...
...you'd break that number in 70 months i.e. 5.8 years... assuming it was 50 LC, assuming zero posts, but also assuming no missed days.
Totally irrelevant... but I felt like doing the math... sorry. Again, tired, calculator didn't work, so I may be off by a bit. I did the x1.81 in case it matters.
