haven't played any in about 2 weeks, I'm getting tired of playing for 10 to 20 minutes & having to wait a year for an update & it taking 5+ years for a avn to be complete.
I'm gonna start only playing completed games / avn's

There are some with a decent update schedule and that aren't short updates. Not many though. IMO the vast majority suck. Because they're either not Renpy or have something I hate (2D/cartoonish, sandbox, kinetic novel, fantasy, ntr, futa/trans. male domination, point & click (seriously - it's not 1993.)

While I don't share the same limitations as you when it comes to 2D, fantasy, sandbox, and point&click, I have long since run dry on the games that have actually been good, and now I'm on a constant months long waiting period with a very rare drip feed of content I actually find interesting.
If it hadn't been for the horrid translations and pixelated censorshit of the Japanese games I'd probably have a lot more to do.
Edit: Heh! "Censorshit" unintended misspelling, but it gets my point across better than the intended word "censorship."

+1 I'm waiting for good stuff to come out/ being updated, searches are being longer with less good titles to play. Interesting stuff sometimes but often in very very early developement
