Who here is following the Olympics?

I can find it equal parts exhilarating and depressing. I particularly enjoy watching those sports that, where I'm from at least, don't tend to get a great deal of TV coverage. Though I often find myself watching people who are less than half my age achieving what they are and thinking, 'What have I actually done with my life?' You know what I mean?

It's kinda like when people made fun of Shawn Johnson because she started putting on a little weight on a message board.

Is there a strategy to this, or is it pretty straightforward. Is there a reason to collect interest or should we let it all just sit there? I mean to say does it stop accruing after 24 hours or is it compounded? sorry for the questions, I had all my LC disappear on me once, don't want to petition to get it all back because I fuck up the process.

Pretty much just wait for 24 hours after your first deposit, collect interest, then deposit whatever else LC you got from the interactions over the 24 hour wait. Rinse and repeat until you have a McDuck vault full of LC.

Oh for FUCKS SAKE. I can't even remember the name of the character, much less the artist, and now I need what, 24k / 5? So something like 4,800 interactions to even look for it again?

Wait, no, shit's on sale right now. So Over 9,000 reactions and/or posts. I get that this isn't on the mods, so this isn't directed at them, but FUCK I'm bout to throw a fit

It's not that bad, depositing your LC in the bank and collecting daily interest amounts builds up quite a lot over time. Every 250 LC is like getting one free interaction each day.

Basically at 24 hours you can accrue 2% interest and it's frozen like that until you collect or deposit which resets the timer. So basically if you wait two days and collect, you've lost a day.

I really wish the interest was auto collecting. Not necessarily because I want to just let it build up without me doing anything, but because with it being manual, you slowly collect later and later into the day, meaning you'll inevitably lose a day if the time is past when you usually sleep, especially if you're not able/forget to collect, then you lose more time. Maybe this is just me, but the current system is minorly frustrating, so not enough to really care much about, but enough for it to be noticeable.

I can't tell you how many Hgames, AVNs, and Hentais I've played/watched where they are start with cicadas chirping (and it's always fuckin' loud)- is that so y'all know the game is set in Japan and not to be confused with anywhere else?

I've basically heard cicadas every year of my life. Some years are more than others, obviously. I'm in the middle of the US, and I don't know about what broods there are.

Good afternoon folks, We went out to McDonald's this morning for breakfast and 2 combo meals + tax was ~ $20.00

I will show my age again and tell you that as a young teen, a plain small McDonald's burger was 15 cents! and the big sign out in front said 900,000 sold. We all wanted to see the sign say 1 million sold.

No, I remember when I started smoking they were $0.75 a pack (fuckin' BT KB). You could get a carton, a soda, and a sammich- and still get change out of a $10.00 bill... *le sigh*
