I don't think it's embarassing. I've seen PS5 at stores that were 5 times the price of a Switch, and the fact that Switch games in its majority are better than PS5 games, even on inferior hardware, is proof of how good the system is. I think the other console companies that are on the past, trying to race as to make the "stronger" console, as in reality it isn't what we need. Just graphics alone aren't enough to justify a new generation of videogames and its exorbitant prices.the embarrassing thing about the switch is how easy it is to emulate those games on cheap Chineese devices. The console maker should eat a large portion of the install cost for the hardware and make money on the games but nintendo kind of took a weird sideways step with the switch. I think the main reason Nintendo is the only manufacturer that has to deal with emulation problems at this point is very telling of how much they're in the past compared with Sony and Microsoft.
I don't remember them disabling Wii stuff. The only thing similar I remember was when releasing Donkey Kong or Pikmin on the Switch (priced U$60), they removed the same games from the Wii U eShop (priced U$40).That's a "wish in one hand" scenario for me. Nintendo is the only company that consistently makes money on consoles sales, Sony and M$ lose money per console sold. So, I doubt they'll change their minds with the huge amount of success they have. The new Nin console is set to be announced later this year, so we'll see soon enough.
They did the same thing when Wii U came out and disabled a bunch of old stuff on the Wii. Brought it back for the Switch and made bank, so I expect that to happen again. Of course, the Wii games you already purchased on the Nin store don't work on Switch.
Please don't shoot the messenger. I agree with you. But I also had frenemies that taught me the mindset:
"Any goods and services purchased elsewhere is goods and services not purchased FROM US."
Translation = "Any money people spend that isn't on the shiny new right now game... is money considered lost by the CEOs and investors."
i.e. Yes they'd make, say 20 bucks from an old game, but they'd rather "force" the consumer to pay 80 bucks for the current game.
It sucks and don't agree with it. It sucks and I don't agree with it! Third time: IT SUCKS AND I DON'T AGREE WITH IT!...
...but the people in charge do... and here we are.
But from a business point of view, wouldn't it be better to digitally sell a game that is already done (so practically no production and distribution cost), than to develop a new game from scratch that'll probably have a big budget, just to sell it for a higher price? If they truly wanted to milk people, I think they would do just that. I think they are just weird and do do what the hell they want. HahahaYou thought this out a lot more than I did. I just try to follow the rules.
Post what you want, apologize later!
They'll try to milk us for as much as the can get. And not the good, conzibald milking, the bad, reverse-mortgage milking.
Oh my god, I just threw up in my mouth a little.![]()
Welp, there goes the rest of my weekend...
Thank you. I'm guessing you just Google it and pops up (no pun intended).![]()
Now, I'm not saying I bookmarked this post for future research, but....

Hey, I answered it, too.Damn all the back reading I've been doing and someone finally answered @conzibald on the type of porn they watch lol. I was waiting to see if someone did before I answered. I go to rule34 videos and have been watching a lot of Futa stuff lately because of @Flaming1 and my new kink on that. Also because of all the talk on fucking @Silwith to death some femboy stuff lately. What can I say

I see. I don't think anyone did it, so thanks! But it's a shame it is from a regular anime. HahahaSince I'm back reading not sure if anyone has answered you. If they did ignore me. But it's from that time I was reincarnated as a slime
Get after it, then!
But, seriously, unless you have the time and inclination to be a dedicated backreader, you'll never keep up.
Thank you backreaders!
I've been having internet issues since the hurricane that got worse when they did "maintenance" in the middle of this past week. Haven't had connectivity for most of two days since then. Logged on yesterday when it looked like things were back and collected my interest (an hour later than normal), but then lost connection again after only a few posts and a little reading - less than 10 minutes. Things seem mostly stable today, so logged in earlier than normal to try to make up for my lack of participation.
I'm at the end of the run, so I'm guessing the signal boosters may be acting up. Or maybe squirrels chewed the connection point on the pole line again and I'm getting intermittent disconnections. That happened about 15 years ago, so wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.![]()
I did have some in bank, and as of today I'm officialy a VIP here.@kikomascado What he said. And, as I started to write this, I think you were around 380 LC away at the current sale price (assuming you don't have anything in the bank) - that's 78 posts or reactions before the end of the sale, which will likely be within a matter of hours. It isn't impossible, so maybe folks will see this and look up your posts and help you along. Just don't be spammy or you can get penalized.
What's ue5 only know of stutter engine 5, if they do you'll probably need a RTX 6090 TI to run it at max settings ultra and then only get 60 fps unless it's optimized surely. It might not be all bad, if it gets delayed, maybe it gets better.
At least they haven't decided to start over and go to Unreal 5.
Hahahaa... man, I hope I didn't jinx it![]()
well, he/you will need companion and here she is...

Nintendo is the least consumer friendlyReplies:

But aside for that, Nintendo has a vast history of keeping retrocompatibility on its consoles. That alone seems very consumer friendly.

And please tell me your opinions on that later.
But I read something about "the list"? Let me see it! I'm curious to what is in that.

And since that post yesterday, I'm updated on all posts here.
But yeah, I won't be able to keep doing that all days. Hahaha
Finally I've bought Prestige 1! So now I don't have the anoying cooldown!
I've stopped reading the thread when I started writing this reply. I was updated to page 343, but apparently now I have 3 more pages to read.
Let's see how long I can keep reading all posts here. Hahaha
Fun fact: I thought that the disco music was so cool, Chiasm - Isolated is to this day on my playlist of songs I use as background music while I engage in cultural activities.Game was so fun even with all the bugs, I'm terrified the upcoming sequel is going to be terrible

That looks amazing. I might go to the movies again after all these years if I had anything as good as that near me.On a 10 point scale.
Bourbon sour: 8/10
Poutine 7/10 would have been 8/10 if the gravy had been hotter
Meatlovers pizza 6.5/10
Rickards Red : 6/10, but I knew what I was getting.

That's a game in need to a remake in modern graphics. It was cool but the graphics are now so out of date. The Jeanette twist was so good
yeah i did and i love getting recommendations as i am generally unaware and find browsing steam to find new indie games to be trash. and since i dont keep up with games and are not really aware of sites to find games except maybe older games i can emulate or are abandonware i will always welcome more reccomendations! ^^As you can tell, I like to play Indie games, don't much care for the new AAA games.

Well, its not exactly 'near' me. About a 2-1/2 drive. The wife and I decided to make a weekend of it. It is Deadpool after all. That looks amazing. I might go to the movies again after all these years if I had anything as good as that near me.
Last movie I went to was Underworld Evolution in 3D, I pirate all movies now...
You're very likely to be right. But from a business point of view, wouldn't it be better to digitally sell a game that is already done (so practically no production and distribution cost), than to develop a new game from scratch that'll probably have a big budget, just to sell it for a higher price?
