Hm. I'm only going to explain this one time, after that, we have to drop the subject, alright? We can talk in DMs about it, though. Just as long as we stay civil about it.

Project 2025 is a 50-50. Some of it will go through but not all of it because some of these actually goes against the amendments. There'll be a huge fight over it, too. The President can only do so much when it comes to the law of our country. We've seen this with Trump, Biden, Obama, etc, when they tried to force laws. They need the majority on their side, or it wouldn't fall through. I'm not too worried about project 2025 as a lot of these are unrealistic. And those who have powers would actually lose their jobs if they don't follow suit. No one's going to accept that. There's a lot more involving this, but we have our Freedom of Expression law. Right now, it's just about finding the lines of what's allowed for THEM. I believe they are called SCOTUS, the ones who protect art and the like. We need to be more mindful of the whole picture, not just a single thing.

If you're old enough to remember a place called "Stucky's" they were a big deal there. I think the last one I knew of (along I-45 between Houston and Dallas) closed in the early 80s, but I think you can still get their pecan logs online. There's another place along that route where you can get their home-made version. They're decent, but not as good as the Stucky's version was.

Yes, I remember first watching that movie at home unedited when I was 9 or 10 and being flabbergasted by the over sexuality - flabbergasted, but not unhappy! I hope the admins & mods are going to spend the next days observing the reaction, because it's not going to be pleasant.

I understand the problems AI can pose (they are many and varied) but this kinda throws the baby out with the bathwater.
This basically kills all of those contests.
And while yes, other kinds of contests are possible (writing, game design, Daz3D & other images), some of them are going to take A LOT OF WORK to get anywhere for a rather small audience. Lots of effort, little payoff.

It feels like LewdCorner right now is trapped between what it originally was, what it wants to be, and what the rules force it to be. And somehow this compromise is the worst you could get (minus the AI non-countless-things pfps).

I think if the admins & mods want people to accept the rules, they're going to have to do more than say "these are the rules". They're going to actually have to explain what legal boundaries tighten the chains & bind their hands compared to the other sites that have a far, far less restrictive policy.

Can someone explain to me what the difference is between a real image and a purchased image?
Even if they pay for images to train an AI with, are the images still of real people/objects, or do they undergo some strange transformation and become unreal?

I'm not sure I fully understand this either. Maybe we can get a "Confused AF" reaction emoji too?

Mods have officially made clear what's going on, basically they are saying AI art you make goes in P4 and that is the only place it is allowed to be posted. Also the Lurker thread stuck in P4 currently is up for review, so just don't post any AI on that one and you'll be fine.

But is it though? There's a great deal of ambiguity revolving around this...
