I'm weird in that a huge amount of content doesn't bother me. It's like saying "too much cake / sex / money".
As a kid, I didn't like romance, at all. But I was fascinated by the concept of soaps:
5 Episodes a week!
That's (taking out holidays) : 250 episodes a year!
Some had been out for 1-2 DECADES before I was born (some were on radio)! So much to catch up on (though there weren't VCRs yet... so... SOL)
Still, that's fucking awesome.
Now?
Disney+ with it's 10 (max) shows/movies a year... each TV show 6-ish episodes in length... is too... much?
I'd want 250 episodes +/- movies of Marvel a year!
Even non-marvel is often trimming from 23 episodes (now called an "Odyssey" by some) to 6-12.
You hate the above? You hate the above. Your call.
But it sucks to have things you like... hated... by the majority of people (and yes, the parallel of threads like this for the reason they exist on a site like this... isn't lost on me).
BONUS ROUND = People think it's STUPID to have a "Previously... on Marvel." before a movie or show.
YET, when I'm rewatching X-men 92 (before starting 97) and a 30 MINUTE tv show has a 2 MINUTE "Previously... on X-men" in front of most episodes.
Again, it sucks to love something that everyone else hates...
It's the same with anime where a season has now 12 episodes and sometimes it split 24 episodes into 2-cour part with months between them. And then at some point in time it's dropped even, never been seen ever again. Obvious No Game No Life reference. AAAAAHHHHHHH I hate that shit, why start 50 thousand new anime's when you can't finish one.
