When did they ever do that tho? They are right, AC was always a fantasy game, just set in a certain time period, it was never accurate, not sure if they once claimed they wanted to make it accurate, but it certainly never was.
Quite honestly, most people whining about the game are just salty a black guy is the main character... Though there are legitimate concerns, first AC in Japan and they don't use a native as the main char is kinda "why"...even with the lowpoint AC3 they managed to make the MC a native american...

AC has always been silly fantasy, and they've always tried to sell the game with "historical accuracy" to draw people because it made the game sound like it's more aspiring than it - being a constant self-clone - actually was.

I just find it funny people are all outraged about the black samurai and not about any of the millions of things AC got wrong every single damn time. Those times? Silence. Now? Everyone's up in arms.

Whenever I see people say "and that's why I'm not going to buy this Ubisoft game!" I wanna be like...

Still hilarious how much drama it made. It was still hilarious I learn thing I didn't know.
I also doubt black samurai will be the problem they will have once the game releases.

Yeah, because they don't really care, there are three kind of people whining at AC Shadows right now, the standard guys that always find a fault with everything before it is even out, so thats normal, then the Japanese that are annoyed that the game in Japan doesn't use a japanese MC, which is fine, though overblown, because there is the japanese Girl right? And the loudest, Racists and misogynists that scream about historical accuracy, but in reality just don't like that the main characters are a black guy and a woman...
