well, I don't want to sound elitist but nvidia makes the fucking gpu that you use to train the ai models that impresses you so much.... they're selling the shovel in the new ai age... and microsoft bought half of the openai

Crazy how fast it happened. They're 10x what they were two years ago, and tripled since last year. All after trundling along going nowhere and doing nothing for 20 years.

Even if they have a bad earning call they'll lose at most like a 10% dip that goes right back in 3 months. You're going to need to wait for the Chinese invasion of Taiwan for a chance at the semiconductor/chip market to take a big enough hit to buy at a good rate. To be fair if that happens we're going to need so many chips for all the weapons and equipment that the US Govt will push that share price back up.

You could be right about a small dip, I don't see it though, most of their value is imaginary speculation. They have 65 billion in assets and they're at 100% production making 30 billion a year right now. There's no way to math that out to being worth over 3 trillion dollars.
Also most of their production in in China and Taiwan, if that war happens the Taiwan factories will be blown up on day one and the Chinese ones will be nationalized in response.

I knew they were gonna blow up for years cuz I'm super into AI, just sucks that I was dead broke when it was a good time to buy lol. Could have been sitting on some fat stacks right now...
