Definitely a slow burn with the main characters, along with faster progression with side characters or something to keep me hooked.
This is the way for me too, I want a dev to give me something early on to hook me, show they can construct a good scene and that it's not gonna be 12 hrs of blue-balls to see a some action.

I'd definitely want some fast action starting off but I don't mind if some of the characters in a game have a slower developing relationship. In a game where you play a family father it is fine that it takes some time to build your relationship with your daughter to a certain point but your wife should be at that point from the beginning.

Same here. Some action at start at least. cant remember name of the game that i tried once but it was really slow burn only lewld thing i see in 3 updates was a pair of boobs. and the dew even said its slow burn but felt more like agony after that 3 update

Games like Fairy FINDR can be fun for a quick tuggenmahpuddah, but slow burn definitely wins out in the end. It's why I still play Lessons In Love updates, and why I'm waiting for Scarlet Law dev to finally decide on a direction. Corruption of innocence overtime beats instant gratification every time.

Usually fast, because slow needs a really good writer to create the suspense warranting my time - if its too slow a burn (looking at you TwoSides) the suspense simply drops and it becomes boring.
Slow can also mean grindy, and hell if I'm spending hours grinding something, when it can be edited or in worst case extracted, some games have great images behind hours of grind and is just not worth it imo.

Sex Scene in the first 10 seconds is too fast and first sex scenes after a month is too slow

Fast. I HATE blueballing games. It needs to make clear beforehand. Even worse is glacial burn or NO burn, like in AWAM and JOHN. Sumer Story, too.

Either works as long as the story fits. There are some slow burn games with a story that pulls me in to the point I forget they're porn games. Like a lot of others have said, there has to be something there to keep me coming back.

Slow burn with good writing, teasing, and gradual build up is my favourite. I need to get familiar with the characters before getting to the good parts.

Well written slow burn > well written fast burn > poorly written fast burn > poorly written slow burn. When a slow burn is good there's nothing better, when its bad its pretty useless.

Overall I'd agree with Readonly and others that say the same, a well written slow is overall the best.
Well written slow burn > well written fast burn > poorly written fast burn > poorly written slow burn. When a slow burn is good there's nothing better, when its bad its pretty useless.

However, RedOwl has a good point, if the story fits it can make it better.

To give at least two decent examples of a slow burn and a fast burn.

Slow Burn
I'd recommend Sweet Affection by Naughty Attic Gaming is still ongoing and it does take a bit to get any involved lewd content, most of the beginning is mainly soft core. However, I feel it does build up the characters well and makes them feel more like individuals than just someone who worships your member. There are some Side LI that move a bit faster as well.
There is a bit of grind to this as it is sandbox style, but most events with the main LI are strict when it can happen so you can easily skip time to jump to the events and avoid repeating the same ones. The Dev also implemented a Diary system for the main LI which are some of the best part for building the characters as well I feel as it basically is how you get some insight to how they feel at the different stages of corruption essentially.

Fast Burn
I'd recommend it is almost complete, I think there is only going to be one more update based on the last update the Dev noted. This one does have very little story and gets into various scenes quickly.
This one is also sandbox but has almost no grind, there are various events for each time of day esentially and different levels of corruption but this one lets you downgrade/upgrade the levels to which ever event you want again overall. This way if you think a missionary at level 2 is more erotic than at level 3 you can downgrade to see it again. This one stands out as it has some really good models and animations.

I think games should have both. Like, there should be some relationships that develop quickly, and some that develop slowly, particularly in incest games. Like, it's just not plausible that MC is gonna bang his mom quickly.

Slow Burn. Such games, as a rule, allow to reveal the characters' personalities, nuances of interpersonal relations in all their complexity and diversity. And the development of the storyline in such games/KN, as a rule, is done at a higher level.

Thinking about it, I prefer slow burn. On fast burn games, I feel there are better ways to get off

If it's going to be a slow burn, then the story better be instersting. If nothing at all is happening, then I'm not going to keep playing.
I'm quite enjoying Family Business right now, which is definately a slow burn.

I like slow burn a lot more, but with at least one sex scene early (with some random) to see how the scenes will look like.
The worst thing is when u play slow burn game and after all the waiting u get some low level lazy written scene.

Also i would like to point out that having somewhat slow burn game due to sandbox is something horrible.

I enjoy both but a slow burn game has to be well written for me to keep playing it.

Thoughts?
I agree with you, sometimes I came across games with a long plot but with poor implementation and vice versa
