I used to be like 75% Meet and Fuck (or VNs with the only choice being 1-Fuck, 2-Do Not Fuck) and 25% Slow Burn.

Sadly, I gotta factor in the Abandoned Game effect that’s becoming common (or I’ve been having bad luck).

Meet and fuck abandoned? At least I got a few scenes.
Slow burn abandoned? I got to know characters… for no reason (at least to me).

I’m now 95% Meet and Fuck i.e. a few exceptions.

Both have their own ehhhhh perks

both, but I definitely engage when the game offers legitimate content. Give me options, choices that impact the storyline, and show me that there's some commitment like different assets, characters, etc.

The games I have enjoyed the most have mostly been slow burns. The games I have uninstalled after 10 minutes have also mostly been slow burns

I don't want chunks of test, but a but of teasing before the main event is always wellcomed, so I guess slow games

If I had to choose I would pick fast but I prefer something in the middle.

Fast Burn Games:
  • Pros: Immediate gratification, intense action, quick progression, and usually easy to pick up and play.
  • Cons: Can feel shallow, repetitive, and lack depth in story and character development.
Slow Burn Games:
  • Pros: Rich storytelling, deep character development, immersive world-building, and can be more rewarding in the long run.
  • Cons: Requires patience, slower progression, and can be less accessible to casual players.
