Well it makes sense what you're saying, if you look into it from storytelling perspective harem is probably not imeplemnted with a deeper meaning. I havent played that game so cant say for that one specifically. Probably harem is just there so people can be with any, all or multiple characters at the same time. This is why I drop support for games the second they start adding content I dislike.

I can definitely get behind this sentiment as well, I actually hate when devs start to detract from what people came for in the first place. Being upfront about content and intentions should be almost mandatory from devs by this point.
