I used to hate it under any circumstance, but if its optional then I can sort of disassociate with any kind of plot and enjoy it in a vacuum on its own. I'd hate to have to sit through a full story leading up to NTR though.

I completely agree with this. Not everyone seems to mind when the MC cheats on his girlfriend or that she doesn't mind he fucking others girls, but if the inverse happens, then everyone loses their minds!
