Introduction of decent AI voices will probably make it a lot better, but the default text-to-speech is awful. Also those regularly dubbed on youtube vids.

The moans and such are annoying and can attract unwanted attention IRL. Lately there are some that have real people voicing the characters, and at least 1 they sound good (Freshwomen.)

Depends on quality. I am willing to give it a try and not just mute immediately if they are not obviously overacted or monotone.

I generally adapt for the type of game. But never turn everything of unless I am having an headache. . Scratch that, I cant stand americans dubs "english overall", but normally keep original japanese/chinese

Like with anything if done well its great. And there's a wide range of quality. Voicing the endless dialogue with lower quality VAs is generally pretty much a wash and not adding much or actively detracting from the experience. But even a little bit of voice work and some moaning etc during the sex scenes can add value to the experience even if the performance is nothing special.
As for music I almost always turn it down to barely audible. I don't mind its inclusion but it usually doesn't enhance the experience for me.

Honestly I usually mute everything, only if the music is fine I let it on.

I dont know why, but I dont like voiced VN, the only exception is Subverse, but Subverse has profesional VA.

Only game I play off mute is Subverse. Voiced lines much better than looped moaning and ass slaps but much less frequent, more would be better.

I mute everything mostly because I don't live alone and I get judgemental looks if I don't.

If people don't like watching you fap they can always go to another Starbucks.

AI may fill the gap but intonation is questionable. Daughter for Dessert had voice for premium edition.

Never cared for voice acted VN's personally. I just don't think they need them. I mute the music too if there's any cause I like to read in silence.

Developers can invest in writers to fix horrible dialogue instead.

How does AI learn tone? Porn game narrated by Microsoft Sam would be unenjoyable.

I mean, sounding indistinguishable from human doesnt make it good VA. I sound human but you dont want my voice in your porn game.

I think is better to spend time developing the story, and not putting something that most people are gonna mute

AI will develop the story and the renders much quicker than the voice. Soon players spend time making sure mom-son-sister scene has correct number of fingers.
