I vastly prefer male, but the main thing about a female protag is that it's more approachable when in a sandbox type game as opposed to a stricter narrative. Cuz at least then I feel more freedom with the specifics of which characters I interact with. Of course it matters if she'd be my type, which makes it less common than most more or less faceless male protags I can ignore.

I like both. I don't think the MC is a representation of myself but the tool I use to experience/influence the story.

I'd prefer more female protagonist games where the storyline isn't centered around corrupting the MC as that seems to be the majority of them and that has gotten super old.

For me it's not important whether MC is male or female. What matters is the characters MC gets to fuck.

For me it's more that Male and Female MC games need to have completely different setups and kinks to work. A lot of my blacklist tags/themes are very gender specific, and the combination of MC and gender complicates it further.

It's not a world for Alyssa is a god game i can recommend to try, You play as Alyssa and have a lot of fun..
