I don't play as any character. I manipulate the character(s) to get told the story the way I like.
So the MCs don't have to represent me in any way, they have to be interesting.

I've seen too many games in which the dev keeps adding characters while neglecting the older ones.
I like it if the MC starts already within a relationship with an LI, so lewd scenes can be inserted from the very start.
Once the hardware is cheep enough, I can see the AI itself being the game.
Instead of choosing from predetermined options, scene for scene, you try to find the prompts that make the AI tell the story you want.
Then you could share prompts instead of entire games.
