Have a few friends I hang out time to time, is not like I don't like to socialize, is just that I can be kinda lazy sometimes

It's not that I don't like to socialize. But I do like to have a small circle of friends. But when you live in a small place with no opportunities, people move away to better cities and countries. That's what fucked me, my closest 3 friends moved away.


I don't know how to meet new people, because in opportunities to do so, I come across as a quiet, arrogant asshole. I know what to say in conversations, but I just can't say certain things, they don't feel authentic to me, even if they are the ''right'' answers for meeting new people so my answers tend to be short and seem like I'm not interested in conversation with the person at all. It's probably autism mixed in as well to some degree
