Thing I dislike the most ... terrible granularity of its current tag system.
Number two would have to be the censorship and how completely unpredictable its application has been.

I don't play Japanese games. Not just the censorship, but cartoons do nothing for me. Main thing in Fuck95 is the inconsistency and they are such cunts with moderation of threads and like worse than North Korea with the rules for reviews.

They don't even follow the very tag definitions and rules they established themselves—including how they group fetishes based on similarities versus actual differences.

I got suspended because I criticized a game's tag when the content wasn't actually there—something I had reported more than once. I pointed out that they claim tags should only be applied when the content is truly present in the game, and that if this rule applies to certain types of content, it should apply to all of them. I argued that if the moderation team doesn't follow the rules they created, there is no reason for a user to follow them either.

F95 is good to a degree but mods are insane, devs have somehow taken over a pirate site and worst of all, rules do not exist, they ban whatever they want/whomever they want without a reason

I only use F95 for download and the modding, the forum part I delibrately ignore. Also since they are a bigger site, stuffs are more likely to be updated faster (like game version).

I don't like FuckedUp95 because they recently put a content-less "loli" game up for a Rule 7 review, even though the developer relies on the ad revenue. First, the FuckedUp95 mods said he had to finish the NSFW version, but now the game seems too perverted for them, even though it's just a content-less game undergoing a Rule 7 review... I just don't get why the mods always have to go out of their way to screw over the developers.

Personally, I have nothing against them, I go there quite often, but every now and then they have problems with some admin messing things up or being a asshole.

I like it because it helped me find out spicy games are a thing. Helps me find new games by kink (even if its tags are sparse: hebe vs loli or netorare vs netorase or beastiality vs bugs are kind of important distinctions)
But the users can be toxic, and I don't like the sudden sweeping bans. I even understand the Rule 7, because my country is run by ****-loving bible-thumping burn-the-sinners-but-only-the-ones-that-don't-hurt-anyone crowd. But I can't even find the NAMES of the games that have been purged, and have been told ASKING for them is bannable, so kinda too far.

Y'all here seem like actual people, have actual conversations. If there were an LC convention I'd actually weigh the danger of going; if there were an F95 i wouldn't even open the thread.
So it's bittersweet: I've had a few nice convos with devs and found some good stuff, but there are a lot of assholes and strategies I don't like.

As for the ads: Stylus, and don't ghosterly or u-block allow you to target page elements and zap them? I restyle every site, make tags I don't like red and ones i to teal, hide ads, make ACTUAL dark mode (black, motherfucker, background is zero, I didn't click the dark theme to get half-ass grey), and make the text bigger than fuck-you-I'm-blind.
