Why do people dislike F95?

In my opinion while there are things about LC i dont particularly like its a far cry better than cuck95s blatant contradictions/double standards
(e.g. allowing games with shota but absolutely going out of their way to get rid of anything loli{mind you with some acceptable issues presented}) but if its brought up your post is deleted and you get a warning from mods.....honestly pisses me off with how hypocritical most of that site is

I have nothing against f95. The administration both there and here makes a lot of strange decisions.

Well if you are someone who likes to talk too much in threads, you might not like it because of the moderaters, they aren't very good at handling things very well, think of it as a class with nutcracker students and the teacher just got his first job.

If you are only for games and other non plus content it's actually the best especially with the recent changes in tags and overall look and functionality of the site, I am here only because of the Plus content, if it loses that content for whatever reason, it will lose its value.

They banned Neko Paradise, then locked the thread, no answer was ever given as to why they banned
versions beyond V20, just that it's banned and we are locking the threads.

That's a reason I dislike cuckzone.

I like both sites. This site is smaller and friendlier and has some games that are not available over there for policy reasons. A few of which I find absolutely abhorrent (but they also have plenty of insta-delete abominations such as White Cube, Red Room or Estate Dominate, and lots of futa, sissification and bimbofication monstrosities), but some of which I actually like despite their status.

The other site has significantly more games, significantly more and longer reviews, and is generally more up to date. All of this is because it is more mainstream. It has far more users, and it creates incentives for developers to work with them rather than against them, resulting in many developers leaking paid versions to the other site themselves. That's a great achievement for the other site and may be an important factor in its long-term survival. But it also leads to shifted priorities.

Both sites are needed. And even some of the other, lesser sites can be useful at times for specific purposes. E.g. lewdzone.com is less complete and more difficult to use, but preserves all the links to old game versions, many of which surprisingly still work.

ads can be blocked, the censorship is fucking bullshit & the forced censorship is even worse.

you cant even call people stupid for being stupid

so many deleted posts in every thread that you can't even follow along most times

I actually don't hate it. I just didn't need it anymore, since all the games I want are here.

Personally, it's the arbitrary-ness of the rules.

I can respect rules but I cannot respect those that hem and haw at the enforcement of those rules.

Definitely not much of a community there. I mostly lurk. Here, I feel like I can add something to conversations

Not a hater as I still lurk there. But I find the community more welcoming here in LC than over there, for sure.

Personally I'm on both sites. A lot of the dislike is probably because Lewdcorner and 95 are very similar sites, with Lewdcorner serving one, er, corner, of the very large audience 95 aims at. I think that on its own would generate tensions.

But also a lot of people here don't like them because they're way stricter about content with underage or underage-looking characters. The reason is pretty obvious, that kind of stuff can get a site a lot of hostile attention and possibly even an outright shutdown. And since that's not 95's primary focus the choice to restrict it is pretty easy for them. LC on the other hand is in large part centered around that content, so a lot of the population is composed of people hostile to any notion of restricting it.

My problem is it has too many restrictions. Some of the games I like they wont allow

95 has way more traffic so it is a little easier to tell what games are popular by likes and reviews

It's even worse there. You cannot even defend yourself against some assholes trying to bully you. The mod removes your comment, punishes you and the comment of your abuser still remains.

The moderation in Cuck95 really sucks.

Gentlemen, on any forum where you use such definitions as fool, dumbass, asshole, etc. to your conversation partners you will get banned. If, of course, the moderators do their job. Be polite, respectful of other people's opinions and there will be no reprisals. Even if there is a heated (but constructive) discussion when discussing this or that project.

Is that censorship? In my opinion, no, it is the maintenance of basic order. I've been on *95 for 7 years, I've never been under any reprisals.

The second issue is content. Try to understand that not everyone likes content from a closed section. Yeah, but do I have M+ status? I was just wondering what was being hidden in there? Turns out, it's games made in (pseudo) Japanese graphics, which I personally (I understand, there are fans) on the heart can not tolerate, occupy about 60% of there, if not more.

The rest of the games from the closed section (made in a more traditional graphic execution) are on other sites, and in open access (all sorts of SSP, etc.), and such as Corruption Town and on *95 available.

LC is a great resource, but only if you consider it as a backup in case of various difficulties with other sites.

Their mods are the absolute worst. Negative reviews that don't break any official rules will get deleted without warning. I have to specify official rules because the mods openly admit to making up their own rules. When people start arguing or derailing threads the mods are completely arbitrary about how far back they'll delete and who gets banned. Sometimes not doing anything until months after the thread got back on track on its own. The mods themselves will openly pick fights with people over past disagreements during unrelated conversations. And any attempt to appeal is completely useless because Sam fully backs the mods being arbitrary and vindictive.
