Slow burn or grinding. There's maybe 5 games that the plot is good enough that I would consider reading/playing without the XXX aspect to it... and if it's slow paced or grindy, I may as well just play a non-ero game.

Too much plot between sex scenes. I don't like to mash through dialog, but c'mon. I'm here for the porn a little more than for the story.

That's it. Some game have a full dialog between sex scenes and made de game boring.

Absolutely. It honestly sucks. I don't know when it started, but after some time it just built up. One day I woke up and realized how picky I became and that I was destroying a hobby that I generally loved. Honestly, I doubt that list is even half of it and I remembered several immediately after I posted it.

It really is like walking on a land mine. Luckily, not everything is an "instant delete", and most of my nitpicks come down to how many individual nitpicks are in the game, and how pronounced they are in the game. That said, some remain instant delete.

id like to know which 5 you're referring to, as I would agree with a couple, not to beat a dead horse but SSP has a fantastic story, despite a few parts that dont really add up. Id probably play Proud Father without the sex scenes if it just was story and alluded to the relationships

Very bad animations. Like, If you are going to make a loop animation using reverse, do it in a way that does not appear obvious, some back and forth feet and arms movements may look strange.

But this is rare actually, only happened one or 2 times with me. I'm not that picky with sex scenes.
