What make you love skyrim in the first place?

The world had some interesting stories in it. The mods made it amazing though.

I'm a traditionalist so borrowing and oblivion were easily my favourites, fast travel ruins the immersion

Depends on how you do it. I'm not a fan of horses or other rides, so i tend to walk or fly as succubus. But if i have some stupid transport job from city X to city Y, i prefer to to use my crypt (connects all vanilla cities) or my basement (connects all owned houses incl. from mods and also the guilds). Once bitten i tend to use my vampire power to turn into bats and "teleport" to the vanilla cities to faster complete quests (like reporting back after clearing some dungeon, saving someone, finding items or similar stuff, also very handy when overloaded).
But the simple fast travel via map click is really boring and not very immersive.

It all those random encounters on the road or the wilderness that make or break the game for me.

Now that depends on the mods, vanilla has aside from enemies and animals not much to offer - in most games.

and as if it were a gta, the freedom of the open world and the possibilities of builds and skills, combat, first or third person mode, and best of all dragons.

ive loved Skyrim since i was a kid its always a comfort game i can return to

I really enjoyed Oblivion. Looking forward to playing ES 6 someday

probably modding it for hours, then playing it for 15 minutes to check if the mods are working, then delete the game and redo the whole process next year

Vanilla is good but modded Skyrim is the best survival game out there. You can make it whatever experience you want, honestly.

Love Skyrim especially after being modded and fully adult modded

never played skyrim...
So many emoticons and not a single one can display the madness of this statement...go playing ^^

I loved skyrim when it first came out. Loved it when I could mod it.

Now I dislike skyrim. The bass game is dull without mods, and I've played it enough that nothing is new. With the disappointment I feel for Bethesda now, it's tainted any elderscroll games for me.

Its like a rpg minecraft I can legit turn my brainoff and just play. From the soothing soundtrack and building and organzing legendary items to the insane mods that adds depth to the game.

the freedom of choice. You can do what you want, explore the quests you want and leave others aside, all in a beautiful and complex world with deep lore, that is just amazing!

Loved the atmosphere and general feel of the land. Also, good Nordic/Viking style games are far and few between.
