it's quite simple write a side story for him but think about her, adapt the details for him.. and ask the opinion of people who are in this interest, of course you can do everything alone.. but it can be interesting to have an opinion and the advice of others I already see a lot of developers asking their community for advice or what they want
I'm not sure that absolutely all game devs only work on the subjects that interest them the most, it's a bit like the principle of fan service

That might work if it's just a difference in genders (or it might result in a gay story that people feel is lazily "find/replace all" patched from the straight version). It would be a lot harder if we're talking something like straight vs. feminization, where the entire structure of the story is going to be different.

And of course this is all extra steps that the dev has to take relative to the fetish they're really interested in writing about, which is my point- the thing they're into is a passion, the thing they don't like but are including for money/other people is extra work that isn't personally appealing to them. And it tends to show.

You know you're on the right side of the internet when so many answers here are against NTR, oversized assets and feminization.

I understand perfectly what you mean and it's probably the case for many but it's not necessarily a reality for everyone.
Some people just want to do well when developing a game and want to bring something rich to everyone who support them and when obstacles arise will not hesitate to ask for help from people better placed to achieve their goal
This type of effort has already been made by classic game studios to implement features or respond to the demand of their community.

Personally I'm a bit of a perfectionist on the edges and if as a dev (which I'm not) I wrote a game I would probably move towards a sandbox as I love freedom and I would certainly want to achieve the best of myself on all the aspects that I would address and from the moment I had a doubt about the quality of my work I would seek the help I need
and yes I would probably put more passion into the things that attract me, I don't deny it either

But I can perfectly imagine writing a gay or lesbian narrative arc according to the sex of my MC even without being personally interested in it, just because for me it would be the logical continuation of this freedom that I would like to offer to my community

On the other hand, I would not write or work on tags that repel me, those that I qualify as redflags.

there's no need to be in it to do excellent work
If I were a plumber I would do my job to the best of my ability and I'm not a fan of pipes but just a fan of a job well done

On your first comment you suggest that you would ignore these Transformation/Sissification tags just because of the quality of the work provided by the dev hence our discussion
and my apologies if I misunderstood it english is not my mains so i read too literally and maybe i dont understand between lines

Gameplay wise, Sandbox, i hate farming 'love points' to get a scene, waiting thursday night to advance the history and wandering aimlessly around the map hunting more content.

Anything that gets filthy. Just imagining the stench is enough to kill my vibe scrolling through the list, I don't care a bit if it is sterile or not save it for the toilet

I'm sure there are exceptions who are able to turn out perfectly good work in genres that don't appeal to them. But in my experience they do tend to be exceptions, and when a game offers multiple paths with wildly differing kinds of content, the quality or quantity of the path the dev is less personally interested in tends to suffer. So a particular game gives me good reason to think that's not the case, I tend to bypass them.

AI-cg is a new one I avoid. Not for the ethics, but because all AI-cg looks the sameish. I like unique styles of art that are consistent to what the artist wants to depict.

NTR!!! I hate NTR!!!! And SCAT!!! I HATE THEM!!!! The only time I play an NTR game is when they have scenes that go along with my specific fetish

Tend to avoid big tits, sisification and snuff. However, I will try most games if the initial screenshot grabs me. The storyline and gameplay presentation that are more important.
I tend to focus on RenPy, I avoid RPGM, and generally avoid HTML (although I currently enjoy The Monastry).
i see what you mean but In RPGM you have
Treasure of Nadia
Genesis Order
and other NLTMedia's game
grindy game sometime but very good CG

I like lot of AI-generated stuff but only the really high quality stuff. Everything else certainly blends together. AI is good for quickly generating a background scene but I can't even bring myself to open AI CG games since they look like carbon copies

For me personally:
Scat
Big tits (the absurdly huge ones)
Big Ass (^^)
I can deal with watersports, its becoming not a kink but just a normal thing
Hardcore/heavy graphic Rape (personal trauma)

Yeah i feel the exact same way. Unfortunately there's not much high quality nsfw ai art since there banned from stuff like midjourney. Most of it looks like slop

I'd add AI to my list too. It's going to get worse, whether it's because it'll die quickly due to changing laws or die slowly because artists it uses will no longer be able to create new art due to unemployment so it'll just feed off of itself resulting in slop.
