discussion What kind of game update do you prefer?

it depends, you can put 6 H scenes on an update that takes 6 months, but they are all within 20 minutes or you can do 3 scenes every 2 months with an hour of gameplay, i tend to like the latter

i prefer more content even if it takes longer to release

You left out "Completed update".

I wait 3-4 updates when a game/VN comes out to try it out and if I like it I wait till its completed before trying it again, 90% of the time.

Fast ones don't add enough for me to come back too and by the time a slow one comes around I don't remember enough so I'd need to replay it. I'm going with normal.

I will wait till a game/vn gets to 3-4 updates then try it out, if I like it I will wait till it is finish to give it a try again.
After playing the finish product and I still like it then I will give some money to the dev.

Over the last 7 years to many great games/VN's have been abandoned and this is why I started doing it this way.
With all the abandoned games/VN's that I use to support is the cause of my new way of doing support.

I prefer normal updates, but with the caveat that I also want there to be clear communication from the dev. I can even be okay with slow updates, but again, only with being told whats going on. If you go a year without posting and then just post 'Still working guys!' with no proof I'm gonna be super skeptical.
