    While I'm playing the game I can remember most characters names pretty good, but after im done with it they kind of fade. Unless the characters really stood out, whether for good or bad reasons.

    Honestly, if I forgot the story I would just go back and replay the game from the beginning. Sometimes creators even add in content to the beginning so it can be worth it.

    I kind of think it really depends on the context of the game. If it has a really good story I don't really care how long it takes. But if I pick a game where I dont care about the story, going for an hour, or even a half an hour without any scenes is just ridiculous.
