My hot take is Summertime Saga is overrated. Design is look so good, but the characters don't. I play these games to get some relief and a good time with my schlong not to get jumpscared every character i meet because they look 50. Maybe one day when i'll be 50 than i'll enjoy the game. I dont have problems with milfs, i like them, but if every girl looked like milfs in my school days, i would be a priest. That's it.

So what is your hot take about games or maybe game tags?

There's such a thing as too big of a harem. 5-7 LIs that are properly developed makes for a much better game than big harems.

Much like tv shows, games can over stay their welcome. Tell your story and then end the game. Then make a new game.

My hot take is... most of the market is incredibly stale. Look at the tags for a game and you've got 9/10 odds of being able to narrate scenes from it without scrolling any further down. Oh hey MC's about to peek on her in the shower? Didn't see that coming. Mom's passed out drunk? Shocking. MC's niece is really his daughter too? What a twist.

Secondary hot take is a lot of the blame falls on the playerbase for continually rewarding any game that hits their fetishes, no matter how badly executed, and pitching a fit when a game does things even slightly differently.

That 90% of NSFW games I've played and generally see are made with the target audience being one specific type of person, like... no, no I don't want to be able to control all of the minds of the women near me just to fuck them and making them want that and also me. I also don't like the idea of taking advantage of my mother either, much less pressuring my sister. Incest needs to be consensual for me lmao, at least for the most part... There also seems to be a lack of creativity, quality control and originality too, there's hardly ever a really good game that gets me hot and interested at the same time, the one I'll hold close to my heart that did exactly that is Pandemommyum!, as it was just so well made and beautiful, and I haven't felt like I've played anything that came close to how that one made me feel. (even if it is a visual novel, it was better than 69 Penny Hot on steam. xD)

I don't expect to have my feelings shared or agreed with on the market as a whole, and I'm certainly not judging anyone for being into stuff like I described at the top, the generic scenario I wrote out. It'd be hypocritical - I'm on the other end there, I'd rather be mind controlled, I'd rather my son take advantage of me - his mother, and I'd also rather be creeped on by my brother and be pressured by him too. Felt I should explain myself and what I meant as well, I don't want to have any misunderstandings or anything... ^^;

1- if Artist wouldn't be so stubborn AI could help them a lot, fixing low-res but cool hairs, fixing clothes (big titted females need it the most and flat ones), or filling empty backgrounds, also upscaling IMGs and Videos, and with tools like Topaz Photo AI can even improve facial features, denoise, sharpen and lighting/color correction
2- Dev should have their script (whole game story) finished before starting development and make at least 4 or 5 updates BEFORE releasing the first one, so they have time to see if the proyect is worth it, most of the time it is but people are a lot more cautious and don't want to waste money in protects that will be abandoned after the first release
3- Devs should NOT listen to people about what to do with their game, they'll end up doing something they don't like and will lose inspiration and quit
4- Devs should finish their games, even if they have to rush it, a bad ending is better than nothing
5- Blueballing or teasing is really not that bad (if the renders quality or the story is good) keeps the public interested and hoping for more (for a while)

Second hot take, traditionally schule as day1, day2, dayX is unnecessary, stupid and waste of story design space and creativity

There are too little sandbox games where you can fuck anyone who you want. Games like Course of Temptation, Unaware in the City, Pizza Hot or Influencing have that kink that you're living in real life and you can select how do you want to live it, and unfortunately those games are the ones who take more time on release an update

Facts, hate when a game has a bunch of options or when you follow the route of character and the games says you that is incomplete and you lost the track of the story of the character months later the dev decided to update that story or that the option will be available on a future version. Like BRO, if you have planned the option, hide it and don't show it at me, save it for a surprise when you start to make the version of the game where you focus on it
