Really depends on your story. A quick pace may work for some while a slow burn may be better for others...

I think a slow burn that doesn't just jump to outright sex once it happens is best, maybe play on the desires more first
I don't know many games on here but i think Dating my daughter did it right, for me at least

If say the corruption pool is 100, each time the Mc interacts with the person he should get a +5. Events would then by mixed in at 10, 20, 30 etc

I like it, it's very slow pace. And the art is a bit weird. It's been in development for years. Probably one of those games that never gets completed

Obviously you don't wanna speed run it cause then there's no build up and it doesn't feel great.
BUT, if I'm playing hours and hours and the girl is just starting to like doing some lewd stuff, come on man, I got things to do.

The pacing gets lost for me in most games because the "innocent" LI is almost always dressed really slutty right from the start. Give me a conservatively dressed girl with an innocent girl's sense of modesty who reveals cracks in the armor gradually and reacts with the appropriate amount of nervousness or whatever. I would prefer this kind of slow burn over the girl who goes hog-wild for sex the first time she sees MC's cock.
