I would just say any studio ghibli movie honestly doesn't matter which one, but everyone should at least watch one of those movies, just for the art alone not even getting into the really good stories.

i would like to recommend the cult classic movie series from Japan - Lone Wolf and Cub.

starting with Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance (1972),
