What is one movie everyone should watch at least once?

Ghostbusters.
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Back to the Future
Star Wars 1977
1980 The Empire Strikes Back
King Kong 1933
Godzilla 1954
The Wizard of Oz
The Adventures of Robin Hood

It’s hard to pick just one so I’ll go with two. The first is Akira I don’t think I really have to describe why. It’s a gorgeous movie with some of the best animation you’ll ever see and an amazing story, it’s just overall an incredible experience. My second pick would be Moonlight it won best picture for a reason it’s such a beautiful story about a group that doesn’t get enough recognition or representation in the mainstream. The way that the story is told is just immaculate and it leaves you wanting more.

Akira is one of those ones I always wanted to see in 70mm 6 track. I think the 4K would be something I should probably invest in. I have the Blu-ray. the first one that got rid of the overscan and had the Streamline Dub. It had the Japanese mix in 192khz 5.1.

i would say Bullet Train 2022, solid movie, action from the beginning to the end and some funny part, also the soundtrack is amazing.

The Room, and i am not even joking. It's a terrible movie by all means, don't get me wrong, but there are a ton of terrible (some even more terrible) or better and a lot better movies, that haven't, won't, and wished could have accomplished what The Room have; that being, having and keeping a large fanbase after decades of being released, having a movie and a book made about how the movie was made (the disaster artist), having movie theaters pack of exhilarated fans shouting every line. But Why the rage? what makes The Room different from other bad, worst or even good movies? Well, i think it ultimately boils down to two key factors, those being Tommy Wiseau and the dialogue. Wiseau's acting is bad, but not your typical bad, it's bad in a very distinct and charismatic, even magnetic, way. The same can be said about the dialogue, it's bad and stupid, but weirdly enough you can't stop being drawn to it. In summary, and to finalize, what The Room lacks in quality-goodness, most movies lack in charm and uniqueness.

Posted here before but thought of 2 more movies
The Man From Earth : imdb.com/title/tt0756683 <--- just the idea alone makes you wonder,,, and great acting.... 2nd one was crap btw,, don't watch that.
Idiocracy : imdb.com/title/tt0387808 <----- Because It is happening right now,,, sad and hilarious

What do you think about this movie: , and about: ? Are they worthy of mention in this list of movie preferences?

Interstellar is the first one that comes to mind. It's no wonder a lot of people have also recommended it.

I think everyone should watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Even if it's too long for them and puts them to sleep. It's the pinnacle of human achievement in film making and a part of history. The greatest movie series of all time IMO.

Interstellar, Lala Land, kung fu hustle and grave of the fireflies

the one where that guy doesn't buy a TV & spends most of his time outside, not in front of a screen.

The Apartment
Rio Bravo
Barry Lyndon
Léon
The Straight Story
Songs from the Second Flor
About Endlessness
