The Last Starfighter, first movie to use full animated sequences. Before that all special effects were done using camera tricks. It is the movie that started the special effect era we live in today. The "Godfather" trilogy, especially the first, the movie is 99.99% exactly the same as the book written by Mario Puzo.

I have been a film buff since I saw the premiere of Star Wars in 1977, and I have seen hundreds of films, many of them works of art (and those I have not seen) but I liked these three, which is almost impossible to achieve. The Lord of the Rings trilogy almost did it but I also recommend it.
