The devs have failed to deliver on multiple occasions on several promises they made.
The latest update was supposed to drop back in August of 2024... It is now estimated to drop at the end of January but people are still skeptical about it.

If I know it is a professional job then I turn it on for sure to atleast give it a try.
But AI voice lines just sound square and unnatural and is very off-putting.
While I do appreciate animations there are a lot of older gamers that have the choppy almost still frame animations that are then sped up which I feel like they would genuinely become better if they just removed them from the scenes completely.
While I do actively turn off sound and music a game I recommend people try and keep sound on for is Love Sucks and Love Sucks Night Two.
Phenomenal art and voice acting for those.
I could personally not stand the FnaF styled games but In Heat Honeymoon was bit more on the right side of things.
It leans much more towards psychological horror in that your choices can very easily lead to a game over.
I don't think it was a missed opportunity per se but more of a "Yeah that would have been cool" the show was still incredibly successful without it.
