What genres are you OK with in games but bother you in other media, or vice versa?

I don't like live action sex scenes in movies and television or "acting" in my porn. But, I really enjoy porn games and ero manga.

Personally, I like NTR tags, more specifically Netori. I also like rape tags as well.

But in books any NTR or rape content is very offputting to me. Mostly because there tends to be something from the perspective of the victim or the victim's lover. I also find it difficult to watch in certain movies and shows as well. Again I think it's the point of view that is the problem in those cases, but I find in these forms of media I usually can't stand something that turns me on in games, hentai, or porn.

Kinda the opposite myself. Less than zero interest in NTR games. But if I'm reading a book or watching a show, it doesn't really bother me that Character A's wife cheated on him. Probably because it's just a story element there, not intended as titillation.

On the other hand lots of AVN protagonists are serial cheaters, and that usually doesn't faze me, where I would find a main character in a non-porn work pretty unsympathetic. Again, probably due to expectations- the game character is cheating to provide me with sex scenes, the book or show character isn't and is just a bad person.

I know its not what you asked, but I have been thinking about the OPPOSITE a lot recently... settings and genres I love, but cant get into in pron games.

Fanatasy and sci-fi, mostly. I watch more sci-fi than anything, but in games, it bores me.

But in porn games, I love farm settings and I dont give a shit about farming in other media.

I resonate with this 100% but for me its more about how the setting and genre influences how the characters look, act, and what they wear. I love superhero and sci-fi movies but dont really find jumpsuit attire that sexy (with a few exceptions)

I don't believe that there will ever be a sexual game or an erotic story that comes close to a relationship that is like reality, so they shouldn't try. It always comes out dissatisfying.

I can only do darker stuff in games, because it obviously isn't real and no one ever knows anything about what I did. I can just forget it and move on and not feel like it means anything, because I am always different when I am not playing a game. I have tried darker things with people in other media (like writing stories) and it always leaves a bad taste in my mouth and changes how I think about myself.

Most things i see being depicted happening to real people or live actors. Like, there are some things in porn games that i dont like because i want to feel some empathy for the characters even if they dont exist, but when they are living people, even if they are actors acting, the empathy is to high, so most things are off limits.

That being said, i'll still watch some things that have a bunch of things i dont like. Like i really dont like the gore in Deadpool, but i love deadpool, so i watch the movies still because i think they are pretty decent adapations... even if some of the vest parts are missing from the comics. Fucking thanos changes...

Depends on the type of corruption. One thing I wish there was more of is where a bad guy or girl corrupt their lover and they become this evil power couple. I think it would make for a fun plot and I get dissapointed when they don't.

Some of the nastier things I've seen in porn games I couldn't stand to watch in actual porn, like drinking a glass of piss or cum. And I avoid scat no matter what. I'm not sure where I stand on bukakke except I only accept it if it's at the end of a gangbang. Who wants to watch 20 minutes of guys jerking off on somebody?

Incest. In other media they almost ubiquitously use it to indicate malice or evil. When you have someone who engages in incest they are also a psychopath or something like that.
In games they use it for more fun reasons. I would like to see incest more in other media, but not as a lazy shorthand for "look how evil, wicked and twisted these people are!"

Incest and any sort of age play are perfectly acceptable in adult games, but pushing them into real life/realistic media just makes it creepy af. Also illegal in 95% of the countries, so that is something to consider.
