The problem with porn is that the acting is nearly always incredibly bad.
This makes kinks that are "story heavy" (like incest) usually quite unbelievable.

And any of the more... "dubious" fetishes are always watered down because the real thing is either illegal (incest etc.) or too dangerous / harmful to the actors (bdsm/rape etc.)

Visually porn has the edge, and perhaps it is interesting/arousing that the things you see are actually being done on a real human being.
