Hard to remember, i remember playing those reading html games with images on the sides for a long time then taking a chance on some generic VN.. safe to say i enjoyed not needing to read through tons of content and just having lots of imagery instead. Played all manor of VNs after that, still enjoy broad genres.

Not a VN, but I played Lust Epidemic to start off with, and i didnt like the gameplay aspect as much as the "h-scene" aspect.

Started heavily researching into VN's afterwards Summertime Saga or Milfy City were my first actual VNs
