Renpy is pretty good, it's lightweight and easier to mod than lets say a Unity based game.

As an android user, Ren'py is really the only option. Unity works sometimes but it's always a hassle trying to play Unity games.

Renpy all the way
Its easy to work with, runs really nice and its very mod friendly.

Always Ren´py, I don´t really like RPGM and the rest most of the time feel clunky.

I like Ren'py, as for RPGM .. it depends there are many games done and some of them are really nice, if it's really detailed with various description of random spots, freedom and hidden things around the world then I love RPGmaker. If it is without those little details then I am not enjoying that game.

I like renpy and rpgm. As for renders. Daz is superior but HS2 is easier to use. The most important is a good story, not intentionally avoiding making the content people want ( Rosie scenes FFS), and having a plethora of character "types" is a bonus.

It really depends on the type of game. If it's a VN-esque (like 99% of games are) then Ren'py all the way. Or something like Unity if the game is built to behave like Ren'py. Simply because it's so convenient to save, load and for people to make mods. I'm not much of a fan of the HS2 type renders so that pretty much leaves DAZ or Blender/Maya etc.

If it's more like a "game" game then UE/Unity are mostly the only options. I used to play plenty of RPGM games a long time ago but not anymore.

Renpy they seem to be the best for just straight one hand play. Rpms, Because most rpgms have a gallary so i can be lazy and i can just say, AnYOnE gOTtA sAvE?

Ren'py seems to be the most optimized for this type of game. RPGM games usually try to be too gamey, and it ends up being more of a grind you put up with to get to the next piece of content than an actual enjoyable gameplay element.

as every developer uses / programs in there own way, I would say use the engine that suits you the most, by using what others think you should just makes for a worse experience for everybody involved.

Renpy is easy and simple.Unity most of the times is unoptimized such as UE.

I've tried unity and RPGM games, and they aren't really my thing for this genre. I go Ren'py all the way with the exception of the Lust Epidemic franchise.

I like modifying games or finding ways to cheat or break them. Based on that: #1 HTML/SugarCube #2 Renpy #3 Unity

I'd say generally RenPy, but RPGM can have some absolute bangers, plus kinks not currently really explored elsewhere

Ren'py and unity by far are the best though RPGM isn't bad either.

Anything that isn't RPGM to be honest. I've never really had good experience with games using that engine because they tend to be time consuming and probably grindy.

I play porn games with one hand to get to the action asap not waste hours grinding. By the time I've finished wasting time running around maps grinding, I end up not being in the mood anymore so yeah, games made with Unity or Renpy are the ones I tend to go for because even if they end up being grindy, they are one hand friendly.

I prefer Renpy or RPGMake
but mainly renpy nowadays especially for just VNs

Renpy is a go to. RPGM has a lot of variables and often more complex games, I just find it a hassle to navigate it. So I mostly skip games made in it. I have tried some other game engines and more often then not they have game play made for renply.
