Ren'py. Easy, perfect features out of the box for most vns, wildly known, easily moddable. Unless you're making a game that require other features, I don't see why anyone would pick anyting else.

renpy is easiest to use and to cheese it, if need it in sandboxes and grinders.

renpy, rollback, right click opens settings and save, left click enter spacebar or return all advance stories which is good cause im fat and like to eat while i game or just about do anything, being able to mash a key with my knuckle to advance story without getting chicken grease all over everything is nice

Single hand play-ability;)
lol, sadly i wasnt lying, im a compulsive snacker. i use 1 hand to shove food in my face and the other to text game and pick my nose. dont like boogers in my cheese puffs anymore than i like cheese puff flavoring on my keyboard. and idk about you, but i can not read my kindle with grease all over the screen

Single hand play-ability;)
Persona 4 Golden on PC can be played entirely with one hand.
So... that's what we should aspire towards.

Rn"ply - Everything else just gives me the ... Is this a virus vibe lol

renpy is definitely the least tedious unlike rpgm.

Ren'Py by far. Easier to backup saved games, easier to use if the dev does not actively block core functionalities (skips, rollback, etc.) and it is probably a given that the game will not be a waste-of-time grindfest like an RPGM one.

Ren'Py for many reasons, and this is not even a complete list: мulti-platform (Linux, Mac, Android), very low system requirements, user-friendly, easy access to resources (images, scripts, music, etc.).

Renpy, can't think of a time I didn't filter games and updates with a Renpy tag. It takes a lot more to get me to try a game using other engines.

Ren'Py, every time. I don't bother with VNs that use other engines.
