What game engine do you prefer adult games to use?

There's no wrong engine.
Renpy is ideal for VNs but for anything with more game-play complexity it's too janky.

I never thought I'd like a Wolf RPG or RPG Maker game, but Immuto Life and Summer Memories proved me wrong.

Ren'Py is the easiest to play. I have no idea if it's the easiest to make for developers though.

Ren'py is the full package, I don't know why bother with anthing else. The RPGM ones... jesus. Unity is tolerable, but still nothing that can't be done with ren'py

I prefer Ren'py. I absolutely cannot stand RPGM. I want to point and click. If I make an incorrect decision, I like being able to roll back and fix it.

Like someone else said Unity is tolerable, but RenPy is just such a solid engine it gets my vote.

My personal preference is Ren'py. The other ones seem to be a little clunky and difficult to navigate, especially if you are used to using the Ren'py engine.

ren'py is my prefered. i do like some unity games if they arent laggy as hell though as a second

Ren'py is extremely creator friendly and just allows them to shine much more easily than other game engines imo, but I've played some solid Unity games as well

Renpy, RPG maker can be acceptable but damn most of the time it's just too rough. Renpy is just all I need from these games.

I prefer games that use either ren'py or unity to be honest easiest to run.

I've played many games using each engine.
It seems like the main ones are Ren'py, RPG maker, and Unity.
I actually really like Ren'py games the most but I'm curious what other people think.
Depends on the game. Strategy games, simulators, and such do not work well on renpy.
I don't really care what engine so long as I can somehow get it to run under linux. I'm at a 98% success rate so far, even including obscure japanese games

I don't have a preference as long as it's an actual *engine* and not some kludgy hacked-up experiment in building your own thing while ignoring advice from experienced game developers for how not to do things (cough cough Newlife cough Kronos Time Titan). Nothing more frustrating than playing a game only to have it crash just because you clicked somewhere the dev didn't expect.

I'm not super picky about what game engine but I do prefer some to others, namely Renpy & RPGM.

Maybe it's because, it's what I consume the most, but Ren'py is my preferred. It's easy to use and understand and it lends itself to ports to different formats easier, like for Android play.

Generally Ren'Py is fine. Though it has it's limitations and people seem to like to push it.
I'm not that into RPG Maker. But if it is good enough I'll play it as long as it isn't grindy. Or if it is niche enough and meets what I'm looking for, though I tend to drop them more frequently.
