Dumb MC that regardless of choices complains about them.
Like:
You choose the option to enthusiastically share mc's girlfriend with the bull.
Directly after choosing this the MC starts crying about his girlfriend cheating.

Hypocrisy. Especially hero syndrome characters. People have this desire to make morally questionable decisions and to just magic the dirty bits away because they're the hero, the main character, they're always right.

When dev intentionally removes the rollback option. What do they gain from doing it? Sometimes I choose a bad option or accidently skip an important dialogue, but dev thinks I should not be allowed to go back if I didn't save it.

Games that do not let the player skip forward or scroll back. Why would a Dev do this? Shouldn't it be up to the player to decide if they want to skip something or want to go back to check on something or change something when playing the game?

I agree with many other comments.
One thing that gets me is when a game goes off the deep end after establishing a standard. They stay in the same genre but all of a sudden it's deeper stuff.
Two examples I can give is
A Moment of Bliss, sci-fiesque with the AI stuff. Then latter introducing how genetic engineering has played a key part to the story which also happened to ruin it for many. (I've mentioned this one before, sorry to those who read this again)
I can't remember the name of this other one, MC is a young person who is part of some secret org and is reunited with his family (MC is obsessed with prolapsing everyone they fuck, personally did not like this but the rest kept me interested) he also has some powers as do other in the org he is a part of. This one is heavily fantasy/sci-fi inspired with witches and such. Then late in the game turns out MC is a Warewolf and there are also Vampires.

Plot twists like this need to be leaned into ahead of time. Great plot twists have a bread crumb trail that is not apparent but when looked back on it was there from the start.

What annoys me in the game? Which game, any game? Well other than NTR it's a rather easy one, the damn friggin stupid FLASHING of white whenever the MC cums in these VNs. It is so friggin annoying, hurts my eyes and head. Like, seriously there are other ways to symbolize the dude releasing. For example, the amount of cum on the girl?
Maybe I've been doing it wrong all these years, but I never had white light flash in front of my eyes whenever I get a release. hm

So yeah, dumb MCs etc are annoying too. But I really rank the white flashing 'cum' light to be the worst idea in these kinda games. Some games goes overboard and has it flashing for a good while. sigh

wow where do we start?

fucking devs that should be banned from every site until they get their shit together:

1. dev who makes over 5k per month yet can't push normal updates every single months (looking at that fucker who makes 17k per month and only does change log fixes, fucking morons keep paying him for years)
2. when the game has arrows to move around instead of picture windows. we're not fucking stupid, we know the dev has zero content so he tries to waste players time, fuck that...
3. devs who use easy to use engine like honey select or koikatsu and think that switching characters while showing the same sex animations every single month is "working".
4. using rpgmaker for a game that is clearly a VN because they want to prolong game time since in renpy form their game would clearly be dead because of lack of content.
5. devs who refuse to add gallery or a roll back or force a player to pick and choose with no real difference or effect, just to force players to play the game twice. basically the fuckers who remove save files shared on this forum, fuck those devs too.

Censored - I skip all censored games
RPGM - I dislike most things about RPGM's graphic's on alot of them are just bad and most are Grindy or stupid fetch quests and sometimes even both
Grindy Sandbox games - I tend to skip alot of sandbox games unless i see in comments/reviews that its not too grindy
Stupid MC - Stupid MC's that can't even tell when someone is literally throwing them selfs at them

Most points mechanics where its just choose the option that gives +1 love stat, as if I'm not just gonna use a mod/walkthrough. Just make it a kinetic novel and write well enough people get invested instead.

Those arbitrary stats are really stupid, on/off path flags work way better than making you take optimal paths so you get scenes and have enough points. especially when you need mods for the 'both option'
