I was the same. Used to never ever use walkthroughs (even if back then they weren't provided as much) for the same reason, turns out the games I actually wanted to invest time in I ended up cucking myself out of content by either skipping events by accident or somehow ending up with not enough relationship points (or whatever) without me realising it. Games have gotten better I feel like, most now just have build in systems. But in reality every choice is just a yes or no at the end of the day, unless there are multiple paths. At first, I was fascinated by the idea of making choices, until I realized quickly that there is no such a thing as choices, It's just what the dev want you to choose, so I just started playing with Walkthroughs so that I can get the sex scenes without needing to guess what the dev wanted me to choose.
Yeah I like to do those aswell, sometimes good to see thanks to a walkthrough what the choices actually do (so you can see ahead of time if it's just NO to this character/scene or actually leading to different outcomes like submission/domination, love/fear etc.).I use the walkthrough for a 2nd playthrough choosing all the bad option but is disappointing that most games don't have actual consequences and just skip the content
I really like the type of games that shows different scenarios and storys and comment about the outcomes of a choice (like Intertwined or BaDIK)Yeah I like to do those aswell, sometimes good to see thanks to a walkthrough what the choices actually do (so you can see ahead of time if it's just NO to this character/scene or actually leading to different outcomes like submission/domination, love/fear etc.).
I think most of us probably do, reality just is most games their branching paths just lead to character A or B (or NO character A and/or B). Very few I can think of that have good alternative paths.I really like the type of games that shows different scenarios and storys and comment about the outcomes of a choice (like Intertwined or BaDIK)
