Definitely prefer it so I don't have to worry about keep rolling back to try every option. I can just get on and enjoy the game this way

I also prefer having the gallery open so i can know what type of scenes to expect to know if they will be worth my time for me it doesnt detract from the enjoyment of playing the game

If the game is fun with no grinding I'd earn it myself if not, glory to 100% saves and those who share them.
Also I prefer gameplay with its story, rather than HD nude pics

Unlocking at the start to see if the game is worth the effort. I don't mind spoilers, i do mind spending hours of my time for content that is disappointing.

I want to earn the gallery myself but I need some kind of hints on how to get the scenes so that I didn't have to search for it from the beginning, so yeah either walkthrough or like Agent17 where it's guided.

I prefer defently to earn the gallery. But i like to have the option to unlock all. Espacaily on game with mutiple path. I like to look up what i missed and don´t want to alter my gamesave.

Some games have bad gameplay, but some good scenes. So unlocked gallery sometimes is nice to at least enjoy those.
Also, i played games with locked gallery, where I wondered why there was almost no content. Turned out, i took a wrong turn somewhere and never got to the scenes that were there. After unlocking with a mod i was surprised a second time

I would like to earn it. But i would like the option to unlock gallery after completing the game or update. Especially theres different branches.

I always play the path I want (Harem if its an option) and then I unlock the gallery to see what I missed.

If i missed something like it was on a different path and i don't want to replay the game is the only time I will look for a way to see what I missed. If its not part of the game or a mod I just move on.

I prefer to earn unlocking the gallery, as long as it's not too obscure to do. Ones where you have to click on some small object in some random screen annoy me.

So I know if it's worth downloading and reading the lead up to the scenes.

Now, I just use a gallery un-locker or someone else's save file if it's a game that's been around for a few years and they pull the old "YOU MUST START A NEW SAVE FILE" trick.

I prefer to make my own gallery with the save screen.
The normal galleries tend to skip the build up, which is the point of vn sex scenes for me.

It is nice to have a little checklist but most of the time, it isn't necessary.

i think my favorite solution to this dilemma is just cheats cause you can either play and do things naturally or you can take as many shortcuts as you want to
