Assuming we have the same definition of sissification, I don't like the sissy dynamic.
There's something fuuucking weird about the idea that being womanly is to be weak and that it's humiliating and disempowering. It is a projection of a negative stereotype towards women onto a man, and that somehow is a kink?

It's basically just misogynistic guilt kink, same as BBC is a racism guilt kink.
It's funny how often sissy, BBC and cuckoldry kinks overlap.

I think it's wording and dramatization of the 'sissy' trope, not necessarily the behaviors that are at issue here. It's well established that men are far more aggressive and women are far less so. A large part of women's power actually resides in males biological needs. Thus, the cuter a woman/child is the more territorial men tend to be of them. Ergo, we almost never ever see an unattractive, bearded 55yo sissy male generating any sympathy from the male population.

Sissy plays on the reversal of biological and social norms and some people really get off on that. You're reaction is actually part of the reason it is appealing to others. Think of the flasher. They get off on the shock factor as the sissy (and sissy lover) gets off on the warping of gender norms. Think Goffman's front stage/back stage dynamics. Your very distaste heightens the appeal for some.

First of all, and not to either of you but to some others in this thread: I think you really need to distinguish between sissy (where the power dynamic is important) vs. transsexual (where a biological man for some (in his opinion legitimate) reason wants to become a woman. Transvestite is again something completely different.

I agree with @HandholdDegen. The key is the sissy somehow fails as a "real" (Andrew Tate-style, who slaps bitches) man and therefore has to be transformed into a woman (which is the only option because he's not a man and therefore must be a woman).
The opposite of the sissy is of course the BBC bull. Sissification is therefore the ultimate form of cuckolding.

It is a kind of reverse power fantasy, where the player has to feel helpless.

I think that objectively, this is pretty unhealthy.

However, personally speaking, I do find this power dynamic interesting and occassionally also arousing (in a weird way).

Where the MC is (for legitimate story reasons) forced to become a sissy and then has different way to deal with that (including becoming dominant later on).
Personally I think that this is a fantastic game, because the setting is really interesting and fresh.

depends on the game, i play a variety of different types of games and regardless of tag it is about the artwork and story. I hate games that are like oh you swallowed a pill now here you are, or oh you insulted a witch guess what you are..... games like earn your freedom, or the sissy girlfriend experiment are better. Just my 2 cents.
