I'm a fan of sweet and savory dishes i feel like it especially works on pizza since Italian-American cuisine is known for using a shit ton of sugar and sauces. You gotta run a pizza with ricotta and honey if you haven't yet.

Not always for me. Depends on the pizza, it can be done well at home with intent. Having a big 3 chain slap the old gross pineapples on a cheese pizza with some cheap ham is gross to me.

There's plenty of authentic pizza in the US. Just don't go to a chain. Where I live just about every town (even very small) has a pizza place owned by an Italian immigrant and children of such. My favorite closes for a week once a year for the family to go visit.

It's not awful, but it's not good either; it's just meh. kinda like dipping fries into ice cream but a lot fruitier and cheesier
wouldn't get it again, but not upset that I tried it

Hawaiian pizza taste real good. Bacon, ham, sausage and pineapple it's in my top 3 with number 1 being meat lovers

Pepperoni and sausage for me or just pepperoni. Also extra sauce and light on the cheese - skimping on sauce and going wild on the cheese only started in the 90s. Absolutely no (culinary) fruit.

I think we've strayed so far from the original pizza ingredients that getting upset about pineapple on a pizza is almost hypocritical
