I'm a fan of sweet and savory dishes i feel like it especially works on pizza since Italian-American cuisine is known for using a shit ton of sugar and sauces. You gotta run a pizza with ricotta and honey if you haven't yet.

Not always for me. Depends on the pizza, it can be done well at home with intent. Having a big 3 chain slap the old gross pineapples on a cheese pizza with some cheap ham is gross to me.

true, it doesn't work with all the pizzas, but with a classic cheese + ham it's always delicious, but if the pizza has blue cheese....? i'll throw that shi out of here

There's plenty of authentic pizza in the US. Just don't go to a chain. Where I live just about every town (even very small) has a pizza place owned by an Italian immigrant and children of such. My favorite closes for a week once a year for the family to go visit.

It's not awful, but it's not good either; it's just meh. kinda like dipping fries into ice cream but a lot fruitier and cheesier
wouldn't get it again, but not upset that I tried it
