I know how it sounds but it's actually pretty good, the swedes have really done some amazing things with pizza innovation (probably through unethical means though).

Whoever came up with that is probably on Italy's top 10 most wanted list. Or at least the "not allowed in the country" list.

The best part is that whoever did invent it named it africana just to throw off the authorities, guy knew he was breaking the law.

That's the standard one. I have not seen any restaurant menus offering pineapple in other combinations.
