AI slop art games. Always turn on filter to hide games made with the help of AI tools.

Previously Ren'Py games were almost the same to me, but I have found good games on Ren'Py since than so I am not entirely avoiding them now.

don't really like sandbox or rpg style games. also not a fan of gore

I usually avoid RPGMaker games, most of them are not worth the effort

played a few renpy games and enjoy games with options to make to change outcome

What kind of games do you like or avoid? This is a question about the game style itself and not the genre. Like if you wanted to build a game yourself, what would you use? What game engines would you prefer: Ren'Py, Unity, Unreal? What kind of art would you use: 3dcg, AI-cg, Hand-drawn? How would you do the story structure: multiple endings, visual novel, FPS, side-scroller? Would you have animations in VAM? Basically, how would you make your ideal game?
I'm also wondering what are instant deal breakers on a game even if it has your favorite tags in it.
This is out of my scope but I will tell you what I like.
Ren'Py, both 2D and 3D as long as there good.
Never multiple endings but an open ending game where you can keep playing after the story is over.
Once the story is over you can still do what the story was all about like getting the girls pregnant over and over again.

visual novels. if i am going to play something, my reward better not be still images.

Bestiality is an instant NO from me, unavoidable scat also. Censorship if it is too pixelated as to make the parts unrecognizable, sadly most of the times. Other than that, I'm game to try.

I avoid Virtual Novels, cause I dont see the appeal I also avoid Ai games like the plague. I do like point and click games

Maybe it's just because the first NSFW games I played were on Newgrounds but I am a big fan of NSFW that are actually games. Things like Evenicle and Hunnie Pop. It would be great if there were more actual games with NSFW. It's not very realistic for obvious reasons but one can dream.

Well I'm a tabletop RPG kinda guy, gimme friends, snacks and enough time and I'm golden.

That said, and because I'm in a Fallout mood, I would see a few things on a game in order to enjoy it fully:
  • A consistent progression for the characters. I hate when the MC becomes a god and the rest of the world stays the same. Also hate it when there is the possibility to become something akin to god. So, a nice progression system that applies to everything would be a nice start.
  • As I said, fallout guy here, so definitily 3D
  • I know it's almost impossible but story driven with choices that really matter. Imagine being blocked to save the world because of a choice you didn't know was important, butterfly effect style.
  • The SFW genre is meaningless, shooter, RTS, RPG, anything is fine
I guess that's it to start. I know very little about programming so, can't help there.

Newgrounds!!!! That's a name I forgot a long time ago. Nice to remember it. Fun times.

Oh yeah, forgot the dealbreaker:

Well, there is a few tags that I don't touch with a 10 foot pole, but that is not what is asked. Aside from that, I would say ugly games, not overly stylized games, those are most of the time fine, but bad art, bad music, impossible. The first thing I look is the screenshots, then the tags, then I try it out.

Anything AI. AI creeps me out and I also feel that it is extremely lazy. If i wanted to play a game and/or see something specifically, whats stopping me from using the same AI as you to see what I want? The answer is nothing. But I hate AI either way so.

JRPGs (not all of them but a lot of them) It's kind of a shame that there are so many shitty JRPG games that have great loli and shota CG's

Ill try most any game but anything like scat or pee is out. Also anything feet related. Just cant do it.
