Shiny Devon is on an indefinite hiatus. They may come back at some point, but consider all their works abandoned until further notice.

They announced that on their discord, so not a disappearance situation. They've just stepped back.

the dev is either come to their senses (very unlikely), in mental care, dead, in jail, or has a court order to cease and desist from all offending activities/presence on the internet.
you can read between the lines from the stories of this game that they (individual) were not all right in their head, at the very least.

Which was a plus as far as I'm concerned. The ones "all right in their head" tend to make boring shit that needs like 100 patches and mods and other bullshit work-arounds. At least this and OSILwas one of the few unapologetic loli AVNs that didn't need none of that crap added that made them a GOAT dev. I'd like to think rather than dead they simply decided to take a break or got burned out after doing it for free for years, in which case they'd prob simply stay off their social accounts (at least under their dev name) to avoid having people keep begging them for the next update. Any hobby will start to get boring after 10,000+ hours sunk into it.
