Are the download links in the first post the unchanged, good version of the game?

I know when a dev starts to back off from a game and abandon it, often they start toning down the content, changing ages, removing scenes, etc, and you'd have to find an earlier version to get the game before all that. I don't know if that happened with this game, what's best to download?

I’m going to give the game a try;

I haven't gotten around to it yet, but a lot of people say it sounds great, and the thread here has reached 358 pages...

I would really like to know what happened to the dev, though.

SSP was removed because Ketzal didn't want to keep making patches because it meant moving most of the game to a patch. Cuckzone mods didn't like it. He was unhappy at the response to him giving up and the whole substar/discord bans.

there were rumours on fuck95 that someone (on an unnamed website) done him dirty.
facts are (told in public posts by himself) that he used a plug-in on discord (MEE6) that tracked all his info & than reported him to discord & his money making services (whichever they were) everyone gave him the axe, all users of his discord got banned or got a lifetime strike, wouldn't doubt if discord gave all info out to the cops.

he cried that he made a big mistake, rolled over, found religion (LOL) and renamed himself & aged up his models so he could use all the money making services

that is it in short, please feel free to fact check any of that.

like i said, Ketzal is dead (by self-proclamation)

Since "Ketzal" no longer exists or gives a shit about his former fans since he became "ALDOR" and has completely distanced himself from loli games and this site in particular, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no chance in hell.

I've been saying that shortly after Ketzal quit, because people kept asking the same stupid questions over and over again instead of learning how to read just a few posts above them....
And they did that for almost 100 pages...

This season of the game was complete. The new season was going to be a separate download. While the ending was suppose to be a cliff hanger, it can also function as an ending. Sad ending, but still a conclusion.

In my opinion, fan continuances remakes and sequels are all a waste. They are usually a poor imitation, by those with less skill, in a least one aspect (and often all aspects). Anyone with the skill to do justice to a game like this should focus on their own game. Creating your own game will give a satisfaction and motivation to do what Ketzal did with this game, give it soul, make it whole.

This game might be done, but I'm keeping Foxy as my avatar.

I’m of the opinion that everyone should do what they enjoy. It's great that you found those pictures again, though... it's still really sad that he can't do what he enjoys without censorship anymore,
Yeah, Ketzal bought the models and environments he uses from the DAZ Store... did any of you know that? Well, now you do.
Since someone here mentioned that a game dev should do this sort of thing as a hobby...

I know this will probably come off as combative, I apologize in advance for that, but since when do hobbies not cost money. Every hobby I've ever taken up has cost me money, including Daz.
I took up learning to use Daz I think a little over ten years ago, and I've spent thousands on assets on both the Daz store and third-party stores, like Renderotica, Renderosity, Renderhub etc.
I've never posted a single image or made a dime, hell I was never even an active poster/commentor on any of the forums until I joined this site.

Bottom line, if someone wants to do this type of content as a hobby, cool, if they want to make money at it, again cool, but these days it seems to be getting more and more risky on the later route.

The game ended, but the way it ended is kinda alright. It's a pretty long game, and it's great while it's going. The way it ends is abrupt, but I think it's ok.
Anyone interested in these types of games will love it either way and it's an easy game to recommend

it did not end, it was abandoned

Technically abandoned since more was planned, but the way the last update ended with the MC shot by his dausis it's easy to assume for those that didn't know about Ketzal's trials and tribulations that it is just a rushed ending while assuming the MC died, dausis serving life in prison for premeditated murder, and the rest of the family killing themselves in despair after losing their daddy/brother/son. Similar ending for Malignant, easy to assume that the MC just lost it and murdered everyone and presumably himself after. A number of AVNs (usually dark-themed) simply do not have what one would consider happy endings even when considered completed by the devs.
