As I said earlier I'm far from the only one that feels that way, he prob pissed off most of his former 1200 SS subs at the least even when not all are vocal about it. As far legal or not it doesn't matter as long as you don't get caught. Hell even with 2026 DNA forensics 40% of even murderers still get away with it. For art they don't like in the US often at best LE or BP would just harass him until he bent a knee like they did with 13 (which I would have just burnt my passport so they lost that path of harassment, I'm far more stubborn than most I guess). BHG seems to still be doing ok despite the shit storms he's been weathering (though the AVNs themselves like PA 2 have suffered with 18 disclaimers right in the stories themselves multiple times instead of just at the beggining once like most). Ruykiru seems fine as well, he just doesn't do dumb shit like other devs and put links to his loli patches right on his SS page or even directly mention what it is even on his own site (to talk about it or ask questions you have to directly email him or go to his Telegram). Where there's enough will there's a way. In my case the will is there but the reliable free time is not, at least not yet.

Just about every instance of the few US arrests in the past 25 years ended in plea bargains though rather than trials regardless of whatever the law actually says (there's thousands of laws on the books no longer actually enforced anymore, Gun Control Act of 1934 latest example that was actually announced rather than done quietly as like usually happens). Ever since 2002 when the SCUTUS ruled on it after the FSC (a porn industry trade group) sued the gov't over parts of the previous 1996 anti-loli law that mostly ended up thrown out lolis are mostly fine after the 2003 law that replaced it as it had to be reworded to include obscenity to avoid another round of 1st Amendment lawsuits, which was technically already illegal via other obscenity laws for several decades before 2003. And sure that can be a plan B but these days the 53yo Miller test is mostly pointless so that is also notoriously difficult to successfully prosecute (good luck convincing all 12 that something an AVN dev or even smut studio made has no artistic value at all, if they can all even agree on what that even means to begin with). It's partly why real incest and bestiality sites are still up so lacking a direct frontal assault method the asshole prude gov't had to resort to pressuring payment processors to do their dirty work since legal options are actually quite limited unless the SCOTUS revisits it and overturns Ashscroft v Free Speech Coalition (LE and BP know this, it's why they had to turn 13 loose after they harassed him and found no actual C P on his phone). And for that the gov't would have to arrest someone willing to take it to trial that also somehow loses several times and appeals it to them and then they'd have to agree to hear it (1% chance, they get like 10,000 petitions a year and agree to hear maybe 100 of them) instead of picking low-hanging fruit like poor artists and welfare recipients that can't afford to lawyer up so plea bargain. Besides just SCOTUS lolis in California are 100% legal as well, the sane judges there have already said so when they ruled they had to be real to be illegal in more than one case. Fictional cartoon with no real victim = no crime. In other words, Daz, HS, hand-drawn cartoon, or whatever is fine there and very likely in the other 49 as well no matter what is rendered, particularly if one doesn't care about making money from it (which several devs still do anyway via front projects and not being obvious about it by using supporter-only loli patches and similar). Granted, none of that applies to shit hole totalitarian countries like Australia or Norway so outside the US YMMV. Really there should be a global law that replaces all current dumb shit with simply a law that says "If you don't like it then don't play it or continue to look at it and still complain that it hurts your eyes and sensibilities like a dumbass". Maybe after AI eventually takes over and replaces all human politicians with actual logic and reason instead of shock and horror.
