I've been watching you all in the shadows since 2022 until I deign to start participating just today. Of the many forums I've been to, I have no doubt that this one is the best.

With everything going on this year with LC, try to keep in mind, that if it wasn't for @Kavinsky "wanting" to do any of this, and the whole team "wanting" to help, we all would not have LC, in any shape, form, and/or name!

It is easy to complain about things, but think about this:

Running a website with all of the things it takes to do that, doing it and personally assuming ALL the financial responsibility, trying to provide something people from all over the world with all different kinds of "likes" will enjoy, especially with the very specific "things" LC provides that make everything "extra difficult" to do and "others" will not provide, cannot be easy, to say the least!

They are providing us something that allows ALL of us to easily access the things we like, and for FREE!

We ALL (the LC community, and yes that means YOU!) are the ONLY ones that "CAN" and "HAVE" to let ALL of the LC team know, that what they are doing, and everything and anything that they HAVE TO DO to keep LC going, is what we want! We WILL and DO support them and what they do!

If all we do is complain about things, all of this could simply go away!

What will we all do then?

So, why not take a second to thank any/all of them, especially @Kavinsky; because like I said, if it wasn't for him (I think "male"), and his team, none of this would be here for anyone to enjoy!

A "little" extra:

People come to LC, even sometimes not knowing anything about anyone and/or the LC site, and they complain! We are really good with letting people know ALL of the things we do NOT like. Try to remember that this is someone else's website. It is something that they want to do, and to do it their way! Yes, this type of site takes the community for this to continue, but for that to happen the way "we" like, it ALSO takes our "verbale" support. WE HAVE TO SUPPORT THEM, AND ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING THEY HAVE TO DO, TO KEEP IT GOING!

We are really just here reaping the benefits from something someone wanted to and was/is willing to do, someone else's dream! This is NOT our site, and it is impossible to please everyone!

Welcome everyone, and I personally really hope you enjoy LC and your time here! But also, PLEASE. take a second to thank them! Something from the LC community like a simple "Thank You", can possibly, just maybe, help to keep the LC we all love, alive for a long time to come!

I wish all of this was mandatory for everyone to have to read!

So, the first thing I wanna do is show my appreciation to the lewd gods, for creating this little slice of heaven for us all. If not for @Kavinsky I'd just be a mindless drone, pilfering games off that crappy other site, and never would have been introduced to the wonderful people of our community by becoming active on the threads.

Now comes the difficult part.. naming off the people I adore. I don't want to offend you, but if your name isn't here.. that doesn't mean I've skipped you over or forgotten you, it's just we don't talk as much. Just know that no matter what, you do mean something to me.

One part of your comment really hit - I had been very involved elsewhere but that place became toxic. It's been fun hanging out here with this group. Lots of good interactions, good natured ribbing amongst the old farts, and a lot of the newer folks seem to "get it" on the quick side and give as good as they get. Even on the days when I'm just mainly hitting the bank and can't really hang out, I still get a lift from scanning through the replies and quotes in my alerts.

I appreciate your efforts to not only keep the site up, but also strive to continually improve it. While some of the changes made have been frustrating to a number of people on here, most of us recognize that those changes are needed to keep this site online. Thank you.

Thanks @Kavinsky for this awesome place and the rest of the staff team, especially @Guz89 who has done so much work around here that will hardly ever get any appreciation from 99% of people, we might not always see eye too eye but that doesn't mean I don't like this site or yall staff members cause, I love this site, and its community, and maybe a few of the staff members I really like, I can say if it wasn't for this site, I doubt I would have ever talked with anyone about any of the things Iv talked about on here, like the other site felt/still feels too daunting too talk in, this place on the other hand feels like an actual commuinity, even though there have and likely will continue too be rough patches along the way, I hope that this site keeps being a staple for years too come.

Shoutout to the admins of this site for keeping this little degenerate corner of the internet alive. Started using Lewd Corner a couple years ago and took a break for a bit while the site was going through its growing pains. Glad to see that it's still alive and kicking, even if it's a ballache to get to the content I want. I'll get there eventually, but I'd rather have this than the site dead and buried.
