First time playing i'll take corruption, if the game is good i might do a second run-through for other options.

Romance is my default, but I also like to try out corruption when I see it leads to something funny/interesting as a path for the characters (kinda like the light side/ dark side corruptions for companions in SWTOR as a Sith Warrior).

I've spent a fair amount of time playing different games, taking a lot of different paths to find the content that interests me.

But It'd interesting to see just how many follow similar paths.

Do you take your first time through an intricate game as a passive outsider?

Possibly you've got an angel and a devil on your shoulders?

Or, you try to get them as fired up, and filled with doubt, you control their every thought and action?

I'll tend to lean to the neutral route on a first play through. Getting a feel for the plot/writing/scenes involved. Which usually is subject to change part way through, leading down the corruption path. I do find a lot of bad endings like that,lol

It depends on the game and story for me. I tend to naturally lean toward more loving/romantic options rather than evil options of any kind. At least for a first playthrough if I go for a second. That said though corruption is one of my favorite types of game. I guess more accurately "wholesome corruption" and voyeuristic stuff. Corruption through more natural and willing means rather than through control or force of will. Usually this goes hand in hand with incest tag, which is another of my main tags. So it works.

I pretty much always choose romance over corruption if they are mutually exclusive. I like to be romantic in real life and find it very rewarding.

I prefer a mix of both; plain romance feels too vanilla. It's better when there's some corruption mixed in.

I hate that most games confuse corruption with evil.

Yes that act of corruption is immoral BUT that doesn’t mean I want the mc turning into some sadistic puppy kicking demon.

Always romance for me. Might do the corruption path on second run by skipping through dialog just to unlock all galleries I'm kind of a completionist
